Shane e Jalandhar(Rannvijay Singh)
Rannvijay Singh Singha (born March 16, 1983 in Jalandhar), is an Indian Actor who acts in Bollywood and
Punjabi Films and also a VJ on MTV India.
Biography
Rannvijay Singh was born in Jalandhar, in a Jatt Sikh family. His father is an Indian Army
officer, as was his great grandfather. His family has been in the Indian Army for 6 generations. His younger
brother served in the Merchant Navy but later joined Rannvijay in MTV Roadies as 'Little Herman'.
As a child, he went to 9 different schools but finally did his schooling from Army Public School,
Dhaula Kuan and graduation in commerce from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi. In his childhood he
wanted to be a basketball player but after graduation, he wanted to join the Indian Army but ultimately
went onto become a media personality. He dated VJ Anusha Dandekar from 2008 to 2010.
Career
He was a participant and also the finalist in the first season of MTV Roadies (2003). He is reported to love
bikes and had said that his motivation to go for Roadies Season 1 was to win the bike.After winning the show
he went on to host the same show every season thereafter. Besides Roadies, Rannvijay has hosted many other
shows including MTV Stuntmania, MTV Force India The Fast and The Gorgeous, Splitsvilla and MTV Scooty Pep
Teen Diva.He has hosted MTV Girls Night Out.
He made his debut as an actor in 2009 in the Bollywood film Toss: A Flip of Destiny. He went on to do supporting
roles in London Dreams and Action Replayy for director Vipul Shah. He made his debut in Punjabi Films in 2010
in the film Dharti which was the debut production of Jimmy Shergill and was a box office success.)
